I realize the idea is to share just one photo per day.  However, after several folks predicting this may be a year without any snow here in Somewhere-in-the-Middle-of-the-USA, it finally snowed.  Since this may be my only chance to take snow shots during my 2012 365 Project, I decided to take advantage of it.

Part III:  After successfully making it up the hill that leads to the entrance of my neighborhood and onto this street, I jumped out of my car to take this shot before one of my neighbors pulled up behind me.  I made it just in the nick of time!

  1. This makes me miss my Indiana home.

    • Mona, where are you now?

      • In the hot desert of Arizona.

      • I must say I’m jealous. I am not a big fan of winter!

      • It’s interesting that we want what we do not have. I miss the change of seasons terribly. Here we have 1 1/2 days of winter, about 2 weeks of spring, and then summer … brutal, heavy, breath-robbing summer, energy-zapping summer, when it is dangerous to be outside. And finally we have about a week of autumn, but you cannot really tell except the temps drop below 100.

      • As you can tell, I’m not a big fan of desert heat. But at least it gives us something to talk about 8 months of the year.

      • My sister lives in Phoenix. I’ve visited her in July. Never again! But it sure is lovely there, especially compared to here, in February!

    • Thanks! They were definitely the first ones I’ve done for my 365 project, but they may be some of the first I’ve ever taken, period. I was pretty excited with the end result.

I love hearing from you!
