Tennis: Take Two

Earlier this year I took a photo of a tennis ball on a court inside after my daughter’s lesson.  When I picked my son up from the outdoor courts tonight I had 20 seconds to try a similar shot outdoors.  I thought I would like the outdoor shot better, but now that I look at the indoor shot again, I kind of prefer it.  I just wish I’d turned the ball 180 degrees so no writing showed.

  1. I like the way you composed the shot! Next time you should try an action shot of the tennis ball and/or players. 🙂

  2. Actually, I like this one better. The isolation of the ball against the net with the court in the foreground has poetry. It’s alone, distant, yet strong.

    • Mona, thanks for your feedback! I think I’m going to try a few more tennis pics over the next few weeks — both indoors and out — based upon some of the great feedback I’ve received.

I love hearing from you!
