Creepy Crawlies

While nowhere near as cute as ducks, kittens, deer, or cows, I find creepy crawlies like this still interesting to try to capture “on film.”

Creepy Crawly #1.  This may be the most photogenic frog in all of the land.  He was sitting on the boring paved path along Lake Lenexa and let me take a bunch of pics.  Then, he had the brilliant idea of hopping over to the side of the path where there was a more interesting background for another bunch of pics.  If ever a frog had the potential of turning into a prince, it would be this guy.

Creepy Crawly #2.  For all of my friends who are freaked out by spiders, I have this empty web photo to share.  All the coolness, no freak out necessary.

Creepy Crawly #3.  Coming back across the bridge in the background, we encountered this snake on the Indian Creek Trail. It was one of the bigger snakes I’d ever seen “in the wild.”

Creepy Crawly #4.  S-s-s-s-s-s-tep back s-s-s-s-s-s-ister!

    • Thanks, Sofia! I had my little Sofia with me when we came across the snake, so I had to be brave and act cool to set a good example! 😉
