Field of Greed

“Corn is a greedy crop, as farmers will tell you.”

Corn Photo #1Driving home from the garden center, I noticed the corn was already sprouting in the fields near my house.  When I jumped out of the car looking for an ideal plant for a close-up, this one caught my eye because a cob from last year’s harvest was stuck in the drying mud nearby.
Corn Photo #2.  I wanted to try to capture these three-inch high plants both individually and as a whole in this field.
