Important Update: You Can Remove the “Notify me of Follow-Up Comments Via Email” Option from Your WordPress Blog
Thanks to the note Leanne Cole added to the bottom of today’s post, you can simply disable the “notify me of follow-up comments via email” option on your WordPress site.
- From your WordPress dashboard, select Settings and then Discussion from the left-hand side of the page.
- Just before the Avatars section, untick the box after Follow Comments that says “Show a ‘follow comments’‘ option in the comment form”
- Be sure to click save at the bottom of the page.
Remember, if you are leaving comments for a blogger who has not yet made this update to their site, be sure to untick the “notify me of follow-up comments via email” option when you leave your comment. If you forget to do this, read this related post on how to unsubscribe from all comment chatter after the fact.

Gosh! I’m sorry, but I’m not sure. I’m not a very sophisticated Word Press user. Have you tried the online community? I’ve been able to get some of my questions answered there. Hope that helps!
