The Mouth of the Mighty Mississippi

It may not technically be the mouth of the Mississippi, but here are a few shots from the Riverwalk in New Orleans today.


Mouth of the Mississippi Photo #1.  A barge sails under a bridge on the Mississippi River.


Mouth of the Mississippi Photo #2.  I loved the red paddle wheel on this river boat with the Mississippi River behind it.



Mouth of the Mississippi Photo #3.  This bigger-than-life, kinda freaky Mardi Gras jester statue just screamed to have his photo taken.  To be honest, he scares me a bit.

      I live about five hours west of the Mississippi in the middle of the USA, but I’m in New Orleans for work and took the photos here! 🙂
