After an amazing dinner of fried shrimp, grits, and red beans and rice followed by a nice, long walk to the mouth of the Mighty Mississippi and through the French Quarter, it was lovely to return to the luxurious Ritz-Carlton.  (Yeah, I’m here for work.)

As I started downloading my photos from this evening and working on my posts, there was a wrap at the door and a velvety voice called out “turn down service.”  Oh, yes.  Yes, please!

    • It has been fun, especially because I’ve never been here before. There isn’t a lot of time to see much, but I saw a lot just walking after dinner and I was up at 6:00 to go walk for an hour this morning. I just wish I had enough time to see the cemeteries… I’ll have to add that to my Bucket List!
