The Meadow on the Hill at Dusk
My big, blond dog, mini shutterbug, and I try to take a walk up the hill to the meadow near our house in the evenings as often as possible. Here are a few recent shots taken as the sun prepares to set for the day.
What do you think? Any tips for helping me take advantage of the final rays of natural light at the end of the day?
Meadow Photo #1. Ben, my big, blond dog, runs through the meadow.
Meadow Photo #2. Tired from running to his heart’s content, Ben walks calmly beside Sofia on the way home.

I really like #2. My favorite time to shoot is about an hour or so before sunset, when the sun is still above the treeline and everything has a golden hue.
Thanks, Lindy. I’m really starting to enjoy that time of day, too.
Awww adorable!
