White Goose and Goslings

While exploring the outskirts of Weston this past weekend, we stumbled onto the Weston Red Barn Farm.  After buying some fresh peaches, we walked down to see the animals.  As I was snapping pics of the windmill, a white goose barreled toward us, hissing mad.

Soon we saw why the goose was so aggressive…

According to the Weston Red Barn Farm web site, these guys were only about a week old.  And too darn cute!

UPDATE June 22nd:  Based upon this post by fellow photoblogger H. J. Ruiz over at Avian 101, I believe these are White Chinese Geese.  I could be wrong…

    OK they aren’t ducks…but they are just about the cutest things on webbed feet I’ve seen in a long time! Great shots!
