Paris: Roller Skating Down the Rue
After getting settled in at the hotel on the western edge of the city, our jet lagged team had to drag ourselves into the city to find a place that was open on Sunday for a late lunch. As we were enjoying our croque madames and boissons froids (served in glass bottles) at an outdoor cafe on a gorgeous day, police on motorcycles blocked off a portion of the street and hundreds and hundreds of people rolled by on roller skates. That’s certainly something I don’t see every day!
