I don’t know the story behind this statue of a woman sitting on a bench under a big, floppy hat other than I thought it was cool and that I stumbled upon it as I wandered between Le Jardin du Luxembourg and St. Sulpice.

    • Thanks, Chill! After seeing it downloaded, I wish I’d beeen able to capture more of her face, but in reality a big, floppy hat covers a woman’s face and adds to the intrigue and mystery. 🙂

    • Thanks so much, Zen! I only wish I’d been able to get down further and shoot up in a way to capture more of her face. But then I look at it from time to time and like the mystery. It would be how a real woman would look with a hat like that…

    • Can you send me a link to your photo? Do you have it posted online? Have you ever been to Budapest? I am in LOVE with all the street sculptures they have. Next visit, I want to spend an entire day just snapping those! 🙂
