Pere Lachaise Cemetery, located in the 20th arronidssement of Paris, is the world’s most visited cemetery.  Many philosophers, writers, artists, composers, scientists, diplomats, and others who have contributed to life in France for the past 200 years are buried at Pere Lachaise Cemetery.  Despite many trips to Paris, I never had a chance to visit the Cemetery until this trip.  I found it difficult to capture photos of the experience that did it justice, but this was one of my favorites.

What do you think?  Any feedback for me?

  1. I love ‘cemetery walking’ (as I call it) and there never seems to be a ‘bad’ picture! So much history and beauty to be found all around.

    • I haven’t done that much, but I am really glad I took a few hours to get all the way across Paris and take a walk through Pere Lachaise. Thanks for visiting my blog and sharing your comment!
