One Thing, Three Ways: Parisian Buildings
I must have taken over a hundred shots of the Parisian buildings. They are just spectacular. It was hard picking just three for this post, but here are three of my favorites.
What do you think? Do you have a favorite below?
Parisian Building Photo #1. I loved the way the red flowers popped against the neutral colors of the stucco walls and white shutters. Plus, the way the building across the narrow street reflected in the windows. In Paris, folks must look down their nose at neighbors in their apartment building who don’t put out gorgeous window boxes of flowers the way folks in the suburbs Somewhere-in-the-Middle-of-the-USA look down their nose at neighbors with a dandelion in their lawn.
Parisian Building Photo #2. Oh to have this view from Montmartre every day!
Parisian Building Photo #3. I snapped this building in the town of Versailles as we approached the gilded gold front gate of the palace. Yes, that also means that I have FINALLY posted all of my Paris pictures from the first week and am moving on to share photos from Versailles, Cergy, Auvers-sur-Oise, Giverny, and the chateaux we visited in Loire.

Mine is the middle one as it gives a wondrous view
Thanks, Alastair! Can you imagine that view daily? What a dream come true!
It would be fantastic. I don’t think I would stop taking photos for weeks
Oh I agree that these buildings are spectacular. Good capture. Each has its own charm and I cannot pick a favorite.
Oh, thanks Mona! I have really struggled to capture the Parisian buildings in a way that did them justice. These started to be closer to what I was trying to do than many of the other shots.
Wow that second one is amazing 🙂 More great window shots! LOVE THEM!
