Like the Louvre in Paris, Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, and British Museum in London, Claude Monet’s home and gardens in Giverny was something I had a chance to visit as a child during the years we lived in Europe.  However, it’s been quite a few years since then and I really wanted to go back and experience it again.  Thankfully my Better Half was game!

I loved this large, black and white shot of Monet in his garden as you left the ticket counter and gift shop and stepped through the green door and into his world.
