Keeping a hundreds of year old castle looking her best is hard work, but these workers are doing their best and giving the old gal a little nip and tuck.

  1. Is that where Da Vinci is buried?

    • Yes, he’s buried inside the St. Hubert Chapel on the grounds of Chateau d’Amboise. His grave is marked by a stone in the floor of the chapel to the left as you enter and face the altar. It was impossible to get a good shot of it as it is in a narrow left corner of the chapel and cordoned off, but it was still an amazing thing to see and experience.

      • This shot from a fellow photographer on Pinterest does a good job of showing DaVinci’s grave inside the chapel. I thought I’d share since you were curious!
