There wasn’t really any detail about the dining room at Chateau d’Usse in the handout at the castle, but I thought it was one of the prettiest we saw in the Loire Valley. Chateau D’Azay-Le Rideau was my least favorite chateau. There were no real gardens. The water surrounding the castle was murky. Overall it was a bit of a let down compared to Chateau d’Amboise, Chateau du Clos Luce, Chateau du Chenonceau, and Chateau de Villandry. That said, I did want to share this photo of its exterior.
