Chateau D’Azay-Le Rideau was my least favorite chateau.  There were no real gardens.  The water surrounding the castle was murky.  Overall it was a bit of a let down compared to Chateau d’AmboiseChateau du Clos Luce, Chateau du Chenonceau, and Chateau de Villandry.

That said, I did want to share this photo of its exterior.
