The Chateau Royal de Blois has 75 staircases, but this one, at the centre of the Francois I wing of the chateau is covered with fine bas-relief sculptures.

    • Thanks, Alastair! What I like most about the first shot is how much detail it shows. Being that I’m from a country with essentially no structure from the Renaissance in existence, I’m forever in awe of this kind of artistry from so long ago.
