I have had a hard time identifying the type of tree these bright, red leaves come from here Somewhere-in-the-Middle-of-the-USA.  This was one of the most helpful leaf identification sites I found, but I’m still not sure what it is.  By shape, it looks like it’s part of the beech family, but it’s really a red leaf and not an orange leaf.  Anyone have any clue?
