London: Cityscapes

The Jubilee Walkway along the Thames River is simply gorgeous.  Here are some of my favorite shots of London during a self-guided walking tour of both sides of the river from the Tower Bridge to the Millennium Bridge.

What do you think?  Do you have a favorite below?

London Cityscape Photo #1.  Taken from the Millennium Bridge, this shot shows the London Bridge in the foreground and the Tower Bridge in the background.

London Cityscape Photo #2.  Also taken from the Millennium Bridge, this shot includes Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on the right and the Shard skyscraper in the background.

London Cityscape Photo #3.  St. Paul’s Cathedral on the left and some of the coolest looking, riverfront apartments and offices on the right.

London Cityscape Photo #4.  I love the way the setting sun added some golden color to parts of St. Paul’s Cathedral and the London Bridge.

  1. #2 as it shows the new and the old. The Globe (even if it is a remodel) and the Shard behind.

  4. I love number four, but I think what won me on it was the way the sun was hitting it 🙂
