One Thing, Three Ways: Red Toadstools
Perhaps because they’re associated with gnomes and other mystical creatures, I had no idea that red toadstools with white spots were actually real. Until I saw some in the Netherlands. I was actually on a mission to visit something else during my drive from Amsterdam to Maastricht. It turned out to be a bit of a bust, but not when I spotted these beauties.
Have you ever seen red toadstools with white spots before? Do you have a favorite shot below?

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your “vote.” I still cannot believe I didn’t realize that there were real mushrooms that were red with white polka dots, and I’m so glad I got to see some! 🙂
At a push, I’d go for the last one 🙂
Thanks! Have you seen toadstools like that before? I seriously thought they were as imagined as gnomes!
I haven’t. They are awesome. Only ever seen them in pictures
I’d only seen them in cartoons and with ceramic gnomes! 🙂
WOW! I didn’t even know those existed! HAHAHA! I love them all because I still can’t believe their real! lol
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thought they were as make-believe as gnomes! 🙂
Wow, Amazing, I thought they belonged to the world of gnomes too. 🙂
I had no idea either! I like #2.
Thanks, Lindy! It was so magical to see these toadstools in person! Like entering a make-believe world!

I like them all, but as for perspective, #3 is best
