Maastricht: Red Light

No, not THAT kind of red light in the Netherlands.

One of the things I loved most about living in the Netherlands was the entire parallel universe of roadways exclusively for bicycles throughout the entire country.

  1. Wow, I don’t think I ever noticed those lights when I was there!!

    • The bike paths are amazing! It’s an alternative road system just for bikes that mirrors the road system for cars, just on a smaller scale! 🙂

  2. That is so cool. I’m a cyclist so that makes me happy. 🙂 Maybe I should take a bike tour there some day.

    • The region is so cyclist friendly! I co-worker’s husband easily rode his bike from the northern tip of the country to the southern tip of the country. It sounded like such a cool experience!
