Isn’t it?!?! In most countries across Europe, I believe most folks are required to get married at City Hall — either as the sole place that their ceremony occurs or prior to any church ceremony. Since that’s so different than what’s allowed in the US, it always seemed a bit unflexible and institutional to me, but the Maastricht City Hall is gorgeous outside, was beautifully decorated, and looked like a gorgeous place to be married!
Oh my gosh I would have loved to get married there! HAHAHA! We chose a court house in Cali instead, totally not as pretty lol! That’s an interesting fact on that building though! Thank you so much for tell me about it 😀
