Thanksgiving

Another pause in Europe pics to share a “real-time” pic from Thanksgiving…

In my family, Thanksgiving is the official start of Old Fashioned season, a fruited whiskey drink we enjoy through New Year’s, with an alcohol-free version for the kids.  So instead of a photo of a turkey, Thanksgiving feast, or pumpkin pie, I bring you this shot of an Old Fashioned.

While my parents, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, and in-laws are all far, far away, my family is healthy and thriving.  And that is all I will ever need.  Everything else is icing on the cake.  Or maybe today the phrase should be “gravy on top.”
