Luminary Walk: Ready to Go

No matter how fast I seem to work on publishing them, the lingering shots from my trip to Europe last month continue to cut into the shots I want to share in “real-time” from the Thanksgiving holidays.  So another break from Europe to cut to the present…

Last night the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art held its eight annual Luminary Walk that lights up the path of the back sculpture garden with hundrds of lit luminaries ending with s’mores and hot chocolate.  After a high of 70F on Thanksgiving the day before, yesterday’s high of 40F made for a very chilly luminary walk, but my youngest was bundled up and ready.

Meanwhile, her big brother was binging on video games over the five day break from school and her big sisters were recovering from getting up before dawn to shop on Black Friday.
