In honor of attending The Nutcracker later today, with dancers from the Kansas City Ballet and music performed by the Kansas City Symphony, here is a shot of the nutcracker that sits on our mantle each Christmas.

He’s a REAL Nutcracker from Germany. A German friend gave him to us as a gift a few Christmases ago. 🙂

I wish I had a cuckoo clock. I think my sister got the one we brought my grandparents back from Germany after they both passed away. It’s pretty awesome.
