As a friend recently asked, “What is it about December that brings out the ‘year in review recaps’ and ‘predictions’ in all of us?” I don’t know the answer, but I do feel myself being sucked in. Because the “A to Z” series I incorporated into my 365+1 photo blogging project has been so well received, I thought I’d use the remainder of December to turn the concept around on myself.
As 2012 comes to a close, I’d like to share a few of my favorite shots from my own work this past year from A to Z. There is a poll to vote for your favorite shot at the end of each post. As always I love your feedback and suggestions as I continue to develop my skills.

T is for…
…the Thames River (or River Thames as they call it in England)…
After about five minutes of looking at these photos, I finally decided on the awesome night shot.
I got really lucky with that one. I feel like my night photography has improved the most over this past year. Thanks!
Over what I’ve been seeing, it has. You are really good
Love the tree……a very creative viewpoint.
Thanks, Robyn! The bark was just really cool when I saw that on a trail walk this past fall.
My favorite is the night shot. Lovely.
Thanks, Renee. France is just so beautiful!
Voted for #1.
The sunset over the Thames was so pretty that night. I don’t think I’d ever seen so many swans in one place, either!
So hard to choose between #1 and #3 – both beautiful!
Thanks, Lindy! My pretty red and white spotted toadstools aren’t getting the votes I’d have given them myself. 🙂
Love that toadstool lol
They are the coolest! I guess we have them in the US, too, but I have never seen them. Have you?
