2013 Memory Jar
My daughter wanted to create a 2013 memory jar, so we decorated this large mason jar earlier this week. The jar is sitting on our kitchen table, and as 2013 unfolds we will add special moments on scraps of paper. On New Year’s Eve 2013, we’ll relive the special moments that we experienced in 2013.

Think I will do that
I’m hopeful that the jar being right in front of us all year (AKA on the kitchen table) will encourage us to add memories to it. We’ll see how we do 364 days from now! 🙂
😀
Although my memory for today has not been worth anything. Seeing the new year in alone and spending the day alone. Not the best start to the new year
Chin up! If it’s been a less than stellar day, then focus on the fact that it WILL get better! Hang in there!
Yeah I suppose seeing the first sunrise of the New Year is a good one 🙂
That was a GORGEOUS photo. See! Positive thoughts, positive thoughts…
🙂
What a great idea!! I would like to do that, but being in a house full of males, I think they would probably roll their eyes at me if I suggested it LOL!
Oh, good point. We have the opposite issue here. On the other hand, my one and only son is sure to be the world’s best husband some day growing up around all of these girls!
Maybe make one that you control and share it with the males on NYE 2013?
Oh my gosh that’s brilliant! Tell her she’s very smart and I will be doing that as well 😀
I’m just excited that the girls are using it. I think our jar is already 1/4 filled, and we’re barely half way through January. I also love how they appreciate simple joys.
Such sweet girls! Yeah I have a feeling it would just be me filling it and my husband might use it once lol!
You might be on to something there. My son or Better Half have yet to add anything! 🙂
Hmmm yeah maybe I’ll wait until we have some kids, lol!
You could see if your brothers… No, probably not.
LOL… yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh 😛
