Starting to Thaw

I never thought I’d say this, but I’m jealous of all the places that got snow last night!  It snowed all along the East Coast of the US.  Europe received snow from the UK to Berlin.  Here Somewhere-in-the-Middle-of-the-US it’s above freezing and no snow is predicted for at least the next ten days.  Darn!  I want some snow so I can get out and practice outsmarting middle grey like I learned in my class on Monday night.

In the meantime, here’s what a portion of the Lake Lenexa wetlands looks like as the ice melts.

  1. No snow in Cornwall, but snow is very rare for us here as we’re almost totally surrounded by a relatively warm Atlantic on a very thin peninsular. This is great for the most part but it would be nice to have the opportunity to get out there and take some snow pictures. 😦
