Starting to Thaw
I never thought I’d say this, but I’m jealous of all the places that got snow last night! It snowed all along the East Coast of the US. Europe received snow from the UK to Berlin. Here Somewhere-in-the-Middle-of-the-US it’s above freezing and no snow is predicted for at least the next ten days. Darn! I want some snow so I can get out and practice outsmarting middle grey like I learned in my class on Monday night.
In the meantime, here’s what a portion of the Lake Lenexa wetlands looks like as the ice melts.

No snow in Cornwall, but snow is very rare for us here as we’re almost totally surrounded by a relatively warm Atlantic on a very thin peninsular. This is great for the most part but it would be nice to have the opportunity to get out there and take some snow pictures. 😦
Oh, but you are on the sea so I’m jealous of that! 🙂
I didn’t notice any snow in London last night, but they say more will arrive tomorrow.
I hope you get your snow!
Our snow has nearly gone. But that could be because of my closeness to the sea It may still be there round the corner
Now I’m jealous of your closeness to the sea!
LOL. I could throw a stone from my balcony and it … well .. it wouldn’t hit the sea, but it would be close 😉
Because you can’t throw very well or because you are slightly further than your best throw from the sea? TEASING!!!
Think a bit of both.
LOL! 🙂
Can you post a message on my blog so I can get your email address then I can show you 🙂
My email is shutterbug.sage@gmail.com. It’s on my About Us page.
D’oh! Thanks
Yep, we definitly having snow in Berlin and people are suprised at the sudden start of Winter 😉 what is it you want to try? Something to do with WhiteBalance?
Overriding middle grey.
I hope we both get snow soon. Here it’s really cold, but no snow.
