The trails of Mill Creek Streamway Park run more than 17 miles from Nelson Island on the Kansas River to the city of Olathe.  Much of the trail borders either Mill Creek or the railroad tracks.  A portion of the trail not far from the 87th Street Parkway access has the best access to some of the prettiest parts of the railroad tracks.  Here are three of my favorite shots from along the tracks.

    • The first is my favorite, too. It’s something about the lighting, the composition, I’m not exactly sure what, but I love it.
