My oldest daughter, Gigi, attended a photography Meet Up with me yesterday.  I learned a bunch about shooting in a studio and lighting while she posed as a model.  We both had so much fun, met some great people, and learned a ton.

Here are three of my favorite shots of Gigi in hair and make-up.  The gals who got her ready did an amazing job!  What do you think?  Do you have a favorite shot below?

  1. Where are the studio shots? Wanna see!

    • They’re coming! I was the biggest amateur of all, but I think some turned out well! I’m REALLY excited to see the shots the REAL photographers took!

  2. I’d go for the first one. You can see her face and how pretty she is 🙂

  3. I love the first one, as you can see her eyes,,, eyes tell us so much… great job.. and you have a lovely daughter!

  4. Beautiful daughter! I like #3… 🙂

  5. They’re all wonderful, but I think #1 is my favorite. She looks like a model.

    • She is aspiring to be a model. This was such a great way for her to learn a lot in a very supportive environment. The photos I’ve seen the REAL photographers share so far are so amazing!

  6. Sounds like fun and your daughter is so beautiful! Looking forward to seeing more photos!

  10. You are much less the amatuer you claim to be.

    • Aren’t you kind? Just wait until I share my very amateur shots of Rose on Grand. All I can see when I look at them is your shot from Sunday and THAT is what I want to be able to do no later than this time next year!!!
