The W. W. Midgley Bridge in Sedona, located northeast of town, is also known as the Wilson Canyon Bridge.  Completed in 1939, it’s on the National Register of Historic Places in Arizona.  We only had enough time to drive a bit beyond the bridge as well as to stop and take a few photos, but next time I’m in Sedona, I’d really like to hike the trails nearby, hopefully ‘making it all the way down to Oak Creek.

Here are three of my favorite shots of the Midgley Bridge.  What do you think?  Do you have a favorite below?

Midgley Bridge Photo #2.  I love how the Oak Creek is winding its way toward Sedona through the left side of the bridge in this shot.

  1. Middle one for me. The closeness and the angle 🙂

  2. #2 as well. Bridge gets lost in the first one, especially because of the shrubs in the foreground. And the big boulder in the third is a bit of a distraction for me. #2 is clear as to the subject and I like the perspective.

  3. These are all really amazing but I love the last one! The trees and the stone with the bridge and it’s a great angle as well 😀
