One Thing, Three Ways: St. Patrick’s Day
As citizens of the original and largest “melting pot,” Irish Americans will tell you that everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. Enjoying corned beef and cabbage, standing along St. Paddy’s Day parades, and drinking green beers, you’ll see folks of all ethnic backgrounds celebrating with the Irish on March 17th. That said, I still have a hard time getting behind a holiday that’s not part of my heritage or upbringing. Just to be fair, I don’t celebrate Cinco de Mayo either.
So instead of dressing up like a leprechaun to stand in the cold, rain-filled parades around town today or consuming green beer, I’ve got these three alternative photos to share on St. Patrick’s Day. What do you think? Do you have a favorite below?

Thanks! Do you celebrate St. Paddy’s Day?
This is a great St.P. Days alternative! Love the idea and creativity! Hard to decide which is my favorite. I should go buy some crayons and draw something…
Thanks so much! Too bad you’re so far away, because we have plenty to share.

I can’t choose! They’re all great 🙂
Thanks! I’m just excited I had something other than green beer or Guinness to share. 🙂
OH! I love #3!!
Wow! Thanks so much! I loved your green apple post from earlier tonight! I was looking at it on my phone, though, and was too lazy to type out a comment on that, so I hope you will forgive me and accept this comment instead! 🙂
No worries. I been away for quite sometime. So I way behind on seeing what you have posted. I’ll catch up one of these days.
One of my favorite days! I think I like the first and last one the most 😀
