It’s been 11 days since my last post.  Eleven.  That’s a big miss for someone who shot and shared a photo for 452 consecutive days, some days posting more than one photo.

Once I missed that first day, it spiraled out of control.  It was like the first day of not working out once you’re committed to and following an exercise regimen.  Or that one handful of Cheetos that leads to the entire bag disappearing.  Or maybe that’s just me…

The good news, is that I’m back up on the horse, in the saddle, and ready to ride.  The even better news is that since I took this photo, it has definitely turned into Spring here Somewhere-in-the-Middle-of-the-USA, so this should be one of the last snow shots for a long, long while!

  1. Glad you’re back! It’s so easy to do that. I have a hard time posting on weekends since I’m always busy and rarely at the computer. Because of that I’ve just been posting 6 days and giving myself a “sabbath” day. 🙂

    • Good approach! In the end, it’s your site, your project, and your rules. You’ve gotta do what works for you! My secret? I try to work ahead a few days and schedule posts for a few days out to give myself a cushion.
