Skinny Rule #19: Sleep Right
It’s been reported that lack of sleep can contribute to weight gain, so it’s not surprising that getting enough sleep is one of The Skinny Rules. Between four kids, a job, a house, and a desire to get as much as possible out of every day on earth, I often find myself not getting eight hours of sleep at night. However, I don’t seem to experience the increased appetite or craving for simple carbs that often links lack of adequate sleep with weight gain.
I’m in New York for a few days for work, and generally get more sleep when I’m on the road. This is my hotel room just off of Times Square.
