Nap Time

In May we became a foster family for Kitty City Kansas, a local cat and kitten rescue organization.  We took in nine kittens (from a few different litters) and momma.  They are cute, but exhausting.  I love this photo that I snapped of my daughter, Gigi, with Daisy asleep on her chest and Kleo dozing off and on down by her feet.

  1. Wow – 9 kittens! Will you keep taking in kittens or is the foster family thing temporary?

    • Definitely no more until we get some adopted, but I could see us fostering (within reason) for a while.

      • Are you in charge of finding homes or do you work with a shelter that does that? (Just curious how it works.) How did your cats adapt?

      • We are fostering with Kitty City Kansas and LOVE them. That’s where we adopted our beloved Canyon. So far two kittens have been adopted, and everyone else is getting spayed/neutered this week so should be ready for their furr-ever homes this Saturday!

  2. Awwww snuggles! Great shot and the angle was perfect!
