Nap Time
In May we became a foster family for Kitty City Kansas, a local cat and kitten rescue organization. We took in nine kittens (from a few different litters) and momma. They are cute, but exhausting. I love this photo that I snapped of my daughter, Gigi, with Daisy asleep on her chest and Kleo dozing off and on down by her feet.

So sweet!
Thanks! The kittens are nearly ready for their new homes now!
Wonderful shot.
Thanks! We’re going to miss the little tykes when they’re off to their new homes very soon!
Wow – 9 kittens! Will you keep taking in kittens or is the foster family thing temporary?
Definitely no more until we get some adopted, but I could see us fostering (within reason) for a while.
Are you in charge of finding homes or do you work with a shelter that does that? (Just curious how it works.) How did your cats adapt?
We are fostering with Kitty City Kansas and LOVE them. That’s where we adopted our beloved Canyon. So far two kittens have been adopted, and everyone else is getting spayed/neutered this week so should be ready for their furr-ever homes this Saturday!
How fun!
Awwww snuggles! Great shot and the angle was perfect!
