As we continued our drive north along the Pacific Coast, we neared Big Basin Redwoods State Park.  It was the most magical place with the Pacific Ocean on our left and views of Montana to the right.  Unfortunately, we were on a schedule and couldn’t spend the time I would have loved to take in the area, but I was able to quickly snap this photo of the Theodore J. Hoover Natural Preserve.  There was still a lot of fog along the horizon, but hopefully you get the sense of “Montana by the ocean” from this shot.  Just imagine that you hear the lullaby of the crashing waves behind me as you look at this beautiful scenery, just like I heard when I snapped this shot.
