Urban Fashion Fest Kansas City
Holy cow, I’m so, so far behind on posts from this summer. My next photo to share was from the end of June. My daughter the aspiring model walked in Haute Metropolis, the marquee fashion show capping off the end of the Urban Fashion Fest in Kansas City.
The lighting was a challenge, and of course the models were moving. I have a lot to learn, but here is the best shot I have to share from the show. Tips on shooting fashion shows would be awesome, because next month my daughter is excited to be a model for Kansas City Fashion Week.

My only tip (because I’ve never shot a fashion show) is to increase the ISO so you can have a faster shutter speed!

Really amazing work! Did you use a tripod? I’ve had people tell me for shots like these to make sure to bring one, but I’m really bad at remembering them lol
