Acorn in Hand
While I’m sad that fall means that winter is just around the corner, there are few more beautiful times to go for a trail walk than right now. My daughter and I enjoyed crunching through the crisp, colorful leaves, collecting acorns, and watching a very photogenic squirrel plan ahead.

I liked your description as it evokes exactly the right feeling of the season, in my opinion 🙂 The photo is quite nice as well!
I don’t know about you, but I’d never seen a nut with such a fun, ruffly “hat” before. That was pretty cool, even if snow is around the corner.
Such a great shot! I myself love the changing of the seasons. I love autumn, but I do love winter too. 🙂
I wouldn’t want to give up the four seasons, but it would be nice if the hots and colds weren’t so extreme where I live.
Love the focus! Everything is clear and beautiful! What did you set your camera to to get it so clear?
Probably cleaned the lens cover, had good natural lighting at that spot outside that day, and got very, very lucky! 🙂
Gotta love shots like those 🙂
