Within the Petrified National Forest is the Painted Desert.  I’m glad that the sun started finally peeking through the grey, snow-filled clouds by the time we arrived at that part of the park so that I could try to capture some of the natural beauty spread out in front of us.

    • Thanks, Inga! By the way, I’m headed to another part of Scandinavia (Stockholm) as part of a three week business trip to Europe in about a week. I know it will be cold and dark, but any tips for me if I get a chance to capture a photo or two while I’m close to your part of the world?
