After an all day training session in our Dutch office, we were on to Paris!  We took the high-speed Thalys train from Schiphol to Gare du Nord and arrived at the hotel in the middle of the afternoon.  After a very late lunch, two of my co-workers and I had about an hour of rapidly diminishing daylight to walk around the Boulogne-Billancourt neighborhood of our hotel before our evening prep meetings started for Paris training the next day.  While we certainly needed to bundle up and wear gloves, we were lucky that the weather was a bit warmer than usual for Paris in January.

I love the small, neighborhood markets so common throughout Europe!
