Escalier du Ministre

I was so disappointed that Napoleon’s apartment at the Louvre was closed the afternoon I was there.   Seriously!  Of all the things to do and see at the Louvre, it is one of the most recommended.  Although I couldn’t see the apartment itself, the grand Escalier du Ministre staircase leading up to the apartment was still impressive.

If you are interested in some photos of Napoleon’s apartment, I recommend these posts from fellow bloggers:

  2. Quite an impressive staircase. 🙂 I have never been inside the Louvre. I think I have to one of these days. 😉
