25 de Abril Bridge
The 25 de Abril Bridge in Lisbon, Portugal is often compared to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge because they are both suspension bridges painted the same color. However, the bridge’s “sister” bridge is actually the San Francisco Bay Bridge. Crossing the Tagus River, the bridge’s upper deck has six lanes for vehicles and it’s lower deck has two train tracks.
