When you live in the middle of country still in love with automobiles, you can’t help but admire all of the things that make the many alternative transportation modes throughout Europe work.  From the Metro to high-speed trains to these bike rails that make it fast and easy for bikers to take their bicycles up and down stairs, I long for a day when more non-automobile options exist where I live.
