When Synke visited last month, we took an evening hike through waist-high prairie grass and wildflowers near Lake Lenexa in search of deer and other lovely things to photograph.  I feel “so so” about the photograph of a young doe I took that evening, and I’m not sure if I’ll post it, or not.  However, I did like this capture of a dragonfly.  I believe it’s a common whitetail dragonfly.
