Each year, the Powell Gardens hosts a Festival of Butterflies that allows visitors to interact with caterpillars and butterflies alike.  While there are 12,00 to 15,000 species of butterflies to admire, I remain partial to the Monarch butterfly.  One of these days, I need to do some of the things on my bucket list, like participating in the annual Monarch tagging effort led by Monarch Watch and planting milkweed in my garden.

And one more thing crossed off of my Photo Bucket List!
