Berlin: Mountain Goat at the Berlin Zoo
Opened in 1844, with animals donated by Frederick William IV, King of Prussia, the Berlin Zoo is the oldest zoo in Germany. You might remember the world-famous polar bear cub, Knut, who was born in captivity at the Berlin Zoo and raised by zoo keepers after he was rejected by his mother.
This guy climbed up to the top of the rock “mountain” in his enclosure and posed nicely for me.
