Kansas City Zoo: Zebra

The zebra enclosure was mostly dirt with dry-looking grasses which didn’t make for a very interesting background.  I also tried this shot in black and white.  What do you think?  Do you prefer it in color or B&W?

  1. It’s funny you know. If I see a black and white photo by itself, I usually love it. However, if I am given the choice of the black and white or colour version, I always pick the colour. In my opinion, the zebra stands out more in the colour version. Either way he’s gorgeous though :).

    • Thanks for your feedback! I’m looking forward to a nice, lush, green spring here in Kansas City and the chance to photograph one of the zebras again with more color in the photo! 🙂

  2. I have a thing for b&w shots, but I really like the color version here. 😊
