While Patrick doesn’t name his guitars, his sisters do. Sass:  I named my guitar Stella after my favorite Beatle. Me:  Paul McCatrney is your favorite Beatle? Sass:  No, John Lennon was.  But he doesn’t have any daughters and there was no way I was going to name her Yoko.

It’s been about seven months since we found this little stinker alone at a construction site near our home.  Here she is sitting like a queen on a human throne with my second oldest daughter.  It’s a bittersweet sight seeing both of them nearly grown up.

After exploring the prairie behind a local elementary school with a few friends, my daughter suggested we go on a hike there together. This shot was from the first of many abandoned structures we encountered along the way.
