The weekend of January 23rd, I traveled to Dallas, Texas to watch my little cousin’s cheer team compete in the Senior & Junior High School Nationals.  While this isn’t a photo from her event, it was my favorite action shot in the low light without a tripod from the event.

No sport is more American than baseball!  While Kansas City is extremely proud of their Royals, I also love the intimacy, convenience, and affordability of attending a T-Bones game right up the street from home, so that decided which baseball game we’d treat our Belgian exchange student to during her three weeks with us!

After a Royals game for Father’s Day, we decided to take in a T-Bones game over the Fourth of July weekend.  

With a final score of 13-2, the Boston Red Sox really outplayed the Kansas City Royals on Father’s Day at The “K.”  This is one of two runs scored by Pedroia. On Today’s Date in the Past: Relaxed Mouser Gnome
